Congratulations to Tammy & Justin who were married at the Gold Creek Chapel. Due to the late ceremony time we were able to do some evening shots with the Chapel which I think look absolutely lovely. The reception was over the road at Functions@Federation. Thank you also to Michael from the Chapel who let us use his back yard where they had a tree that perfectly matched the green accent in Tammy's dress. This was a real family affair with all the kids involved in the bridal party and lots of fun was had by all!
This abstract photo was taken at Terrigal on the north coast. While exploring one of the many beautiful beaches there I was struck by the patterns, textures and colours of these amazing rock formations.
Martina & Patrick were married at St.John's Reid. A gorgeous couple (not to mention a gorgeous bridal party as well!) Due to the late ceremony we did part of the photo shoot before and part after. It was quite a stormy and cold day so we did a lot of indoor stuff around the Hotel Realm where the girls had prepared. The Realm staff were very nice to us and even let the girls in behind the bar for a few shots.
These two were taken on our recent trip to Sydney to shoot James & Eimee's wedding. We went on a dinner cruise on a tall ship on Sydney harbour which was absolutely delightful. Spectacular sunset views of the city. The cruise is run by a company called Sydney Tall Ships - I highly recommend going on this cruise next time you find yourself in Sydney, it is so relaxing and enjoyable. And the captain & crew look after you so well.
I'm not sure if this is a crow or a raven (or something else?) - can anyone tell me? Anyway a pair of them come down everyday and have a big splash around in my water fountain just outside my studio window, using it as their own personal day spa. They look like they have a ball of a time, only it means I have to top up the water up every day as by the time they're finished they've splashed most of it all over the courtyard! PLease click on the photo for a larger view - you have to see those piercing eyes.....
This was such a fun wedding to do for this great couple. They were married in the fabulous Tulip Tops gardens just outside of Canberra with a beautiful backdrop of spring blossoms and tulip beds. We also had a great time playing at the Parliament House soccer oval with these two soccer tragics. I just love the complete contrast between Nerissa's gorgeous stockings and her footy boots and shin pads! There was some serious illegal tackling going on as you can see from the dive Ben is taking in one of the shots. I even love the way the shots with the change room grates turned out.... Add a cute as can be flower girl into the mix who didn't want to wear her angel wings and couldn't quite manage to blow bubbles properly and you have some real magic.
This was a funny little moments when Nerissa veil got caught on a tree and pulled out of her hair. When Ben tried to rescue it he got more tangled than ever!
This was one of those freaky shots you just couldn't plan if you tried. Nerissa accidentally kicked the ball straight to my head and a millisecond later it whacked into my lens pushing the camera into my face and nearly giving me a black eye! Just happened to click the shutter in time but there was no time left to get out of the way...
