2010 ACT/NSW AIPP Awards

Recently the combined ACT/NSW AIPP print awards were judged in Sydney and I'm pleased to report that 10 of the 12 (the maximum) prints I entered received awards. I received  3 Silver & 2 Silver Distinctions in the Illustrative category and 5 Silvers in the wedding category. Here are the images. Congratulations to my friend and colleague Dan O'Day who won both of these categories and Photographer of the Year with some exceptionally amazing world class work. You'll be able to see our work (the actual prints) and that of some other amazing photographers at the awards exhibition which will be at Artworks in Fyshwick from 22 April through to 5 May.

The Art of Wedding Photography Exhibition - 2nd April

After having quite a successful year in international  competition I thought my award winning wedding images would be a nice theme for my next exhibition at the Tuggeranong Arts Centre. I would love to see you all at the opening on the 2nd April at 6:00pm, otherwise please come down and have a look when you get a chance. It runs from April 2 through to the end of the month. AIPP Exhibition at Floriade

Just a reminder that the ACT AIPP are having an exhibition at Floriade until Sunday featuring entries from this years national APPA awards. There are lots of great photos to see in a range of categories including 4 of my award winning wedding photos. If you're at Floriade this week it's really worth a look - and don't forget to tell all your friends!
