Here is a photo from our recent trip to Bali taken in the rice fields on the north of the Island. Many more to come in the weeks ahead including the fabulous Bali wedding of QiQi & Jacky..... stay tuned!
You may recognise Kim & Tim as ex-wedding clients of mine. This is the second lot of family photos we have done for them since their new baby girl was born. These were done here at the Realm and I particularly love the results we got on this shoot so I thought I'd share especially since I haven't posted any portraits for a while......
Just to break things up a bit here are some recent family portraits before I post the next weddings. The first is of a brother & sister we shot at Mt.Stromlo for their father. The second lot are a dear family to us. I first met them when shooting some portfolio shots for one of their daughters who is a professional dancer, and then I did their son's wedding last year. They finally managed to get the whole extended family together in one place for this shoot!
It's very rare that I actually get to shoot "for myself" these days with the business being so busy. But over this winter I managed to get a few personal shots. They feature my nephew Brodie, a friends new baby girl, the Kiama Lighthouse and blowhole and some nature stuff from my Mum's garden.
While we were in Sydney we popped in to visit my sister for a few days. She always takes advantage of my visits for free family portraits. I'm trying to have a holiday but she's cracking the whip on me and took me and the kids down the beach for a photo shoot. Well I shouldn't grumble I suppose - I did forget to get her an anniversary present this year. So here it is.
This is Bob & his girls. He is a vintner from Yass. I'm shooting his eldest daughter Claire's wedding next month & they thought it would be nice to have some family photos out at their property before the wedding. As Claire was living interstate at the time of booking her wedding & did everything over email I hadn't met her yet so it was also a good chance to get to know her & the family. They were absolutely delightful & I'm looking forward to the wedding even more now!
